Best thing to do, Sasha, is too involve yourself in your work (or whatever) that you'll do when here, and make as many friends as possible. They are the best connection to everything here.

we're planning to move to Bratislava this autumn and would love to find an English speaking playgroup or something of the kind for our daughter who'll be 5 1/2 by then. Any information on activities for kids that age would be very helpful.
