THOUGHT FOR THE DAY – RESPECT

“Your body is your vehicle for life. As long as you are here, live in it. Love, honor, respect and cherish it, treat it well, and it will serve you in kind.” Suzy Prudden

Learning to respect your body is vital if you intend to live a long and happy life. As we age the quality of our later lives will be in direct proportion to the amount of care we give our bodies in our younger years.

Your body will treat you the way you treat it. Treat it as something worthy of respect and it will probably respond in kind. Abuse it and it will usually break down in many ways until we learn the lesson of respect. Eat healthy, drink healthy, exercise regularly and don’t smoke.

Here’s another interesting find. People who live into their 90’s and beyond have 3 common traits.
• They work at maintaining a low stress level.
• They work at always maintaining a positive mental attitude.
• No matter what their age they are always studying and learning new things.

How do you measure up?

Your comments on RESPECT are welcome.
