PROCESS PLANT MECHANICAL ENGINEERS, SUPERVISORS & TRADESMEN
IMMIGRATE TO CANADA

You Possess :
• Degree of Engineering or Technical Diploma in mechanical, maintenance or related disciplines
• Five (5) or more years of process plant mechanical maintenance / engineering experience in a large process plant environment
• An expertise in :
o Mechanical Repair & Maintenance
o Maintenance Planning, Reliability & Systems Engineering
o Mechanical Project Engineering
o Trades Techniques (piping, welding, fabrication, repair)
o Trades Training
• Relevant equipment experience:
o Crushing & grinding mills
o Pyrometallurcial / molten metal processes
o Diesel generators
• Experience in various stages in a process plant lifetime (i.e. construction, startups, expansions, shutdowns, day-to-day operations)
• Good computer skills
• Competent management skills (if applicable), including budgeting and cost control in a process maintenance environment
• Excellent performance, quality and safety track records
• International experience (preferred, but not essential)
• Fluent verbal and written English
You will :
• Report to the Mechanical / Maintenance Superintendent
• As engineer or supervisor (if applicable),
o Identify, develop and manage projects that improve processes, lower costs and drive research & development
o Assign / delegate tasks to your staff
o Participate in setting budgets and monitoring & controlling project costs
o Monitor, evaluate, coach and recognize the performance of team members
• Develop and implement work procedures that ensure safety, environmental and maintenance compliance to targeted standards
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies that deliver optimum process plant availability
• Work closely with the Warehouse & Procurement departments to ensure good mechanical spares management
• Actively participate in continuous improvement programs
