The Liquigas team cyclist finished the 110-mile hilly ride from Oswiecim to Cieszyn in 4 hours, 21 minutes, 15 seconds with a bonus of 10 seconds. Tree seconds behind were Ireland's Daniel Martin with the Garmin-Cervelo team and Italy's Marco Marcato with Vacansoleil-DCM.
